A Life Group is a relatively small gathering of believers who regularly meet to follow Christ together through Scripture, prayer, fellowship, encouragement, service, and mutual accountability.
A Bible Class is a gathering whose primary purpose is to understand, interpret, discuss, and apply a particular portion or theme of Scripture.
